Draft of the Plot.

MY PLOT (rough draft):
The beginning of the trailer shows the relationship between the two main protagonists (girl and boy). One day the boy wakes up to find his girlfriend missing. As he goes downstairs and enters the kitchen he sees there is a huge mess and blood on the floor. There is a sticky note attached to the fridge door. It says a time and place. He has to find his girlfriend and there are sticky notes all over town (film in Chichester). When he reaches her the antagonists are demanding something from him (In Knight and Day there are wanting a memory card). Boy says 'I know what you want, but first let me see her, let me see her!' 'Where is she!?' Lead antagonist: 'Shut up, she's fine...for now...you have twelve hours to get me what I want and then your whiny little girlfriend will be returned'. As antagonist says she's fine for now there's a fuzzy clip of the girlfriend either being held on top of a crane (CGI) or just on an industrial estate. Either way the situation has to be terrifying for her and can create a good tension for the audience. I will look into SAW for inspiration. As the clip of her shows she will slowly wake from being hit on the head and start screaming. The rest of the film shows his journey to get her back. Towards the end of the trailer after the Police have gotten involved they can say 'He's not who he says he is' and the trailer can cut to the end.
